This patient is a 46 year-old female who was diagnosed with left breast cancer and decided to have a mastectomy for both breasts. She desired breast reconstruction using her own tissue and was able to have bilateral DIEP flap breast reconstruction. She was excited about having the option to user her tummy tissue to reconstruct her breasts. Her postoperative result shows her following a breast lift for both breasts and nipple reconstruction. She is very pleased with the result from her DIEP flap breast reconstruction and loves the natural feel and appearance of her reconstructed breasts.
